On Wednesday, May 4th, the Greenville Health System and Greenville County Schools teamed up with the Greenville Drive for a health careers night. Students from all around Greenville gathered at the Greenville Drive to witness the Augusta Greenjackets play against the Drive, all free of cost. Students who attended enjoyed a complimentary hot dog picnic followed by the game. Attendees also learned about other health-related fields with some interactive exhibits. Some students even participated in stretcher races on the field and other activities in between innings. Students who attended were also entered to win a fitbit. Carolina's own senior Kaitlin Abercrombie won that fitbit. The event was a success with great food, fun and educational activities, and a nice ball game. It was a great way for students to explore health related fields that they may be interested in, all while enjoying delicious hot dogs and a baseball game with their peers and other health students.
