Spring Break isn’t far away, a whole week and a day without school. It’s exciting but it isn’t as exciting when you have nothing planned to do during spring break. Make plans with friends or family, explore the outside and enjoy time out the house. If you want to go out but don’t know what to do, here are some suggestions that can be taken under consideration.

Taking long walks at Falls Park, take your friends or family so you have someone to talk to. Walking releases stress and can clear your mind.

If walking isn't your thing, take a bike ride through the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Make sure you plan how far you want to go, that way you don’t feel you’re doing too much.

Another park that could be taken under consideration is going to Paris Mountain State Park, this park is an escape from the city. This park offers nature trails, fishing, boating, swimming and a playground.

Planning a picnic at the picnic shelters at parks is a great way to enjoy the outdoors. Some tips for it being better than frustrating is going early in the morning or when the sun is about to set. Since spring break is about being outdoors there may be people filled at the picnic shelters, it's best to bring a blanket or folding chairs.

Some advice if you aren't into nature or walking, try something new. Trying something new can help find a hidden talent you may have. Play a new sport, draw, paint, write poems, or something that seems interesting that can be enjoyable.
