Cheesecake Factory coming to Greenville

After at least a year of rumors whether the popular restaurant company will be coming to our city, it was officially confirmed as true by Greenville Online. The Cheesecake Factory is set to open this summer at Haywood Mall.
The restaurant will cover 8,500 square feet and will be placed where the former Panera Bread used to be next to Macy’s. It will include outdoor dining area with two outdoor patios.
The first Cheesecake factory was opened in Beverly Hills, California, in 1978. It currently holds 200 restaurants worldwide, according to the company website. This location will be the first in the upstate as well as the first in South Carolina!
“The Cheesecake Factory perfectly complements our ever-growing retail and restaurant mix,” Haywood Mall mall manager Jamie Wright, said in a statement. Wright also added that the restaurant was a way to "enhanced options" to customers, and "to better serve the Greenville and Upstate Community."
The Cheesecake Factory is known worldwide for their unique menu that consist of over 250 handmade dishes and a dessert menu with over 30 different cheesecake flavors.
